21st Anniversary Message
Welcome to the twenty-first annual Pacific Rim Street Festival (PRSF) celebration in Old Sacramento and the Downtown Plaza. The Planning Committee has been working all year to bring you “Shoes of the Asian Pacific Rim.” Whether it’s fashionable or functional, footwear has evolved and changed so much in relation to comfort and style.
Vision and Dream: Frank Fat is still an important aspect of this event. He wanted to have a festival where we could learn about each other’s cultures and appreciate our similarities and differences—and be a community together.
The planning committee members deserve a round of applause for their dedication and direction to put this festival together for our 21st anniversary. To the volunteers: We could not put this festival on without your help each year. And of course, a thank you goes out to our returning and new sponsors who support this event. What a great team to put on this festival!
Come check out all of the activities from the entertainers at the four stages to the food at one of our food vendors and food trucks. Stop by the Children’s Activity area to see what’s being created. Purchase a PRSF t-shirt or merchandise from one of our Art and Craft vendors. We hope you enjoy the day at the Pacific Rim Street Festival.
